Then go to \u201cDrawing Utilities\u201d &gt; \u201cPurge\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6077 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.investintech.com\/resources\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Application-Button-Autocad.png\" alt=\"AutoCAD Application Button\" width=\"360\" height=\"141\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.investintech.com\/resources\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Application-Button-Autocad.png 360w, https:\/\/www.investintech.com\/resources\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Application-Button-Autocad-300x118.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 360px) 100vw, 360px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2.You\u2019ll be presented with a pop up. Leave the \u201cView items you can purge\u201d checked and from the box below choose items that you would like to remove. The \u201cPurge\u201d command identifies all items not used in the drawing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3.Click on \u201cBlocks\u201d, and select either \u201cPurge\u201d or \u201cPurge All\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4.When prompted, choose \u201cPurge this item\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In certain cases, there may be items nested (located) inside other items. You can easily remove those by checking the \u201cPurge nested items\u201d check box.
