The best part is everything is done offline on your desktop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To sign your PDF electronically with Able2Extract Professional, download a free trial by clicking on the button below and follow the instructions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button aligncenter\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.investintech.com\/prod_downloadsa2e.htm?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=button&amp;utm_campaign=sign-pdf\">Download Able2Extract<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Open your PDF<\/strong> file in Able2Extract Professional.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Switch to the <strong>Sign and Secure<\/strong> tab on the main toolbar. <\/li><li>Click on the <strong>Choose Signature<\/strong> button<\/li><li>Check the <strong>Add Signature Image<\/strong> option and click on <strong>Create\u2026<\/strong><\/li><li>Type, draw or import a signature image.<\/li><li>Click on the <strong>Add<\/strong> button to create your signature.<\/li><li>Click on the <strong>Sign<\/strong> button and place the signature on the page.  <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.investintech.com\/resources\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Sign-PDF-1-1.gif\" alt=\"Sign PDF document offline\" class=\"wp-image-9763\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t forget to save your newly signed PDF using the <strong>Save<\/strong> button in the <strong>File<\/strong> tab on the main toolbar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to add digital (cryptographic) signatures to your documents, you will need a digital certificate issued by the Certificate Authority (CA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> The process is similar as to adding electronic signatures. Except, after you\u2019ve created your signature in step 6, you have to check the&nbsp;<strong>Digitally Sign the Document&nbsp;<\/strong>box<strong>,&nbsp;<\/strong>and select your digital certificate before adding the signature.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Signing PDFs and Forms with Google Docs <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for a quick sign-and-go tool, you can use Google Docs in conjunction with the add-ons available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can essentially sign uncomplicated PDF documents if you upload them as MS Word documents first. &nbsp;So if you have simple PDF documents that only need a signature to complete it, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investintech.com\/pdf-to-word\/\">convert your PDF to Word<\/a> first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve converted it, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Upload and open your Word document in GoogleDocs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Click on the <strong>Add-ons<\/strong> tab and add the <a href=\"https:\/\/chrome.google.com\/webstore\/detail\/hellosign-online-signatur\/kajjckmbclbffbpecfbiecehkfgopppd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">HelloSign Add-on<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"661\" height=\"464\" src=\"https:\/\/www.investintech.com\/resources\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Hello-Sign-Google-Docs.png\" alt=\"Google Docs Addon\" class=\"wp-image-5584\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.investintech.com\/resources\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Hello-Sign-Google-Docs.png 661w, https:\/\/www.investintech.com\/resources\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Hello-Sign-Google-Docs-300x211.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 661px) 100vw, 661px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The HelloSign Add-on will give you the most direct way to add signature and other signing fields to your documents. All you have to do is click and drag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Add-on also ensures that the signatures, themselves, are legally binding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One limitation, though, is that <strong>you only get 3 free signed documents per month<\/strong>. For more, you\u2019ll need to upgrade your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. In the side bar, select the number of people who need to sign. Click on <strong>Continue<\/strong> in the next dialog to prep your document for signing. You\u2018ll then be directed to the HelloSign website where you can designate signers as well as yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. To sign the document, click on the drop down menu listing (under \u201c<strong>Who signs here?<\/strong>\u201d). Select <strong>Me (Now)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Decide how to sign the document. We opted to draw in a signature as the manager and clicked on <strong>Next<\/strong> to review it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10.
