News Flash Update on Adobe Acrobat 8

Stop the count down, Adobe Acrobat 8 is finally available for purchase!

And According to the news, it’ll cost you about $449 US for the full version. But if you’ve already got the previous version installed, upgrades are being priced at $159 US. You can check out the Adobe web site for details on pricing and availability.

And, if you want to sample before you buy, there are 30-Day trial versions of Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional for you to try out.

In addition, the web conferencing and real-time collaboration program, Acrobat Connect, is also on the trial downloads page until the end of 2006. After that, according to a November 2 press release, it’ll be available on a per month subscription price.

Last, but not least— Adobe Reader 8. You can start another countdown for that one. The latest version is scheduled for release in early December 2006.
