New Year’s is a great time for taking a glance back at the previous year and a glance ahead at the upcoming year—which things didn’t work, what you can do to improve and how things have changed or, in some ways, really haven’t.
The perfect theme for a quick and fun posting.
Last January, I blogged about a video posted up on YouTube by Lori DeFurio, "Introducing Adobe Acrobat 1.0". It was funny because it was ridiculous, it was true and it was the not so tech-savvy 90’s.
Well it’s 2008 going on 2009, and you can still find something “not so
tech-savvy in the office place to laugh about. Here’s another similar
(though short) Adobe marketing video, “Office of the 21st
Century, which pokes fun at the few archaic and non-PDF-using quirks
that modern day offices can still possess despite newer technology.
Side note: If you’re a bit worried because you’ve been given that same
“Confidential-100%-nod-in-response bit, the AcrobatUsers.com Topic of the Month for December was Digital Signatures. Learn how to use them, secure your PDFs and depend on nobody’s word but your own.
Happy New Year!
