The Create PowerPoint File command allows users to take an existing PDF document and convert it into a simple, image-based PowerPoint file. Because the file is image-based, the user will not be able to edit the test or images within the PowerPoint file – although they will be able to add shapes and text on top of the image using PowerPoint’s editing functions.
The page range options for this dialog allow the user to specify whether to create a PowerPoint presentation from the current page, all pages, a page range, or specific pages within the active PDF document.
The following provides a brief description for the remaining dialog settings for this function:
Presentation:
Save As: Specify the output PowerPoint file name.
Slide Width, Slide Height : Specify the dimensions of the output presentation.
Content size :
Maintain Original Size: Keep the size of the page as is – note: for standard Letter size pages, this may result in poorly fit presentations.
Scale Proportionally : Fit the page proportionately in the new slide.
Stretch to Fit: Adjust the content on the page shape and size to fit in the new slide.
