The Create Handout function enables users to combine multiple PDF pages onto a single page.
The descriptions for the options for creating Handouts are provided for below:
Paper Size: Specify the paper size and orientation used for the booklet.
Paper size selection: drop-down menu contains a selection of internationally standard paper sizes.
Orientation:
Auto: use the selected page width and height. Portrait: make page height always greater the width no matter what page type selected. Landscape: make page width always greater the height no matter what page type selected.
Scale: Specify how the original pages will be fitted to the new page area.
Auto: stretch original pages to the size of destination area calculated by the program. The original size: use the original size of the page. Specified: users provides the size for the destination area. Proportionally: If checked, the destination area will remain proportional to the original page size.
Layout: Specify how many rows and columns one page will contain in the output document.
Margins: Specify the margins for the top, bottom, left, and right borders of the resulting page. Horizontal spacing: Specify the space between each row. Vertical spacing: Specify the space between each column. Gutter Position: Specify the gutter position on top, left, bottom, right, or no gutter at all. Gutter Width: The measure of the gutter for binding, if applicable. Repeats: Specify how many copies of each page from the original document will be used to impose to the output document. Page Ordering: Ordering can be sequential or stack. Page layout always starts in the top left corner.
Across: Runs from left to right, then top to bottom. Down: Runs from top to bottom, then left to right. Stack: Runs from top left of each page, then to right, then to next row.
Double Sided:
Front-and-back: Print even pages on the back sides of odd pages Gutter only: Keep the gutter on one side of the pages.
Crop Marks: Choose whether or not to draw Crop Marks and set the options of lines.
None: Don’t draw crop marks. Draw Crop Marks: Draw crop marks on both the corner and the center. Corner Marks Only: Draw corner crop marks only.
Center Marks Only: Draw center crop marks only.
Bleed Allowance: Specify bleed allowance if necessary to allow for any deviations in cutting the paper to the finished page size.
None: No bleed allowance. From original PDF: Use the bleed information from the original PDF file. Specified: User specify the bleed allowance amounts.
