The Add Bookmark command enables users to add a bookmark to a page in an opened PDF file. The current Sonic bookmarking functionality only supports basic outline style bookmarks – as such, it is not currently possible to edit bookmarks after they have been created.
After opening the Add Bookmark interface, the user must click the “New Bookmark” button to create a new bookmark. They can then specify the bookmark Type, provide a Label for the bookmark, specify a File, if applicable, denote the Page number, and specify a URL if applicable. After the bookmark has been created to their specification, the “Save Item” button should be clicked.
The process can be repeated, until the document contains all necessary bookmarks. If, during the process, the user wishes to remove one or all bookmarks, they can click on either the specific bookmark and then click “Remove”, or they can simply click “Remove All” to delete all bookmarks.
After all bookmarks have been created, the user can now click “Apply” to add the created bookmarks to the PDF document.
