Stamp Text…

The Stamp Text function is a simple way for users to add text to an existing PDF document. The desired text to be stamped must be entered in the box next to, “Text:”.

The user can then specify whether to rotate the text to be stamped, determine the Opacity of the text and whether the text placement should Overlay or Underlay the contents of the current PDF document.

The user can specify the font style and characteristics in the Font & Text section of the dialog.

The position of the stamp is specified under the Position & Offset section of the Text Stamp dialog.

Horizontal: The Offset value for “From Left” and “Centered” shifts the text from left to right. The Offset value for “From Right” shifts the text from right to left.

Vertical: The Offset Value for “Centered” and “From Bottom” shifts the text upwards. The Offset Vlaue for “From Top” shifts the text downwards.

The page range options for this dialog allow the user to specify whether to apply the Text Stamp settings to the current page, all pages, a page range, or specific pages within the active PDF document.
