The Stamp Image function is analogous to the Stamp Text function, and allows users to stamp an image onto a current PDF document. The image to be stamped must be selected by clicking on the “…” button.
The user can then specify whether to rotate the image to be stamped, determine the Opacity of the image and whether the image placement should Overlay or Underlay the contents of the current PDF document. Decreasing the Opacity from 100% may result in the image appearing as a watermark when stamped. The user can also choose to scale the width and height of the image.
Note: The “watermark” effect, if Opacity less than 100% is selected, may not appear in the Sonic viewer. Users can check the watermark by saving the document and viewing the edited document in Adobe’s PDF reader.
The position of the stamp is specified under the Position & Offset section of the Image Stamp dialog.
Horizontal: The Offset value for “From Left” and “Centered” shifts the image from left to right. The Offset value for “From Right” shifts the image from right to left.
Vertical: The Offset Value for “Centered” and “From Bottom” shifts the image upwards. The Offset Vlaue for “From Top” shifts the image downwards.
The page range options for this dialog allow the user to specify whether to apply the Image Stamp settings to the current page, all pages, a page range, or specific pages within the active PDF document.
