Use this command to convert the selected portion of the active document to a specific location within a designated Microsoft Excel (.xls) document.
Conversion
After the Convert to Excel Special command option is selected in the File Menu, the following dialogue box will appear:
Click the “Browse” button enter the Excel file name which you would like your PDF table selection to be converted to.
Once you have done so, click Next and the following dialogue box will appear:
This dialogue box notes the Excel worksheets that are available for that particular document. Choose the Excel worksheet that you would like the PDF data selection entered into.
Once you have done so, click Next and the following dialogue box will appear:
This dialogue box asks for the Starting Cell for the user to input the column and row – ie. B3
Click “Finish”, the conversion will then take place and the PDF data will be inputted into the designated Excel file.
